BlogBits™: Bass

Bass were initially discovered in America in Florida. Bass (like most fish) don’t have eyelids but the amount of black pigmenting around their eyes helps reduce the amount of sun that reaches the inner eye, so they kind of have built-in sunglasses. Bass have relatively long lives (compared to some animals) and the oldest lived to be 23 and lived in New York. Check out our Bass cabinet knob at Costello Coastal Knobs!
